Thanksgiving weekend

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Bryan's mom's house. We had turkey, ham and all the fixings :0) It was very yummy. After dinner, we came to our house and watched "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and had pumpkin pie!!

Then we strung the popcorn we popped for our Christmas tree. It was the first time I had ever done that. It was fun.

On Friday, Nana took us to get our Christmas tree ... then we decorated it and had hot cocoa (for me) and egg nog (for everyone else).

At first Collin didn't really want to help, he was playing his Xbox. He did come help put the candy canes on though :0)

After all the decorating was done, we had a Christmas photo shoot with Pippy. I had gotten her a Christmas dress last year on clearance and my Grams got her the reindeer ears the other day when we went shopping :0)

We have a busy couple weeks coming up .... next weekend is the Ische Christmas at my parents. I'm SO excited because my sister and the kids are going to be coming. YAYAYAY!! I can NOT wait to see them. Then the next weekend we have Bryan's family (Terrell) Christmas. And sometime in there we have to have our Christmas with Nana ... she is going to Colorado to help Bridget and Steve with the boys over Christmas break. And then the 19th is the Wekseth Christmas. Busy, busy ... I guess I can say ... 'Tis the Season!! :0)

November weekend fun

I figured since I'm home sick (AGAIN) today ... I could catch up some more on my blog.

Last weekend was SO beautiful outside we (Bryan, me, Pippy, Kayla, Ryan, Collin and Collin's 2 friends...Cameron and Phil) spent some time at Glen Park on Saturday afternoon. Then n Sunday Bryan and I went to Como Zoo with Nana. It was such a nice day out that a lot of the animals were outside and active. It was the perfect time to go ... not too hot and not too many peeps. I think the last (and only time) I was at Como was in high school for band. Dang, that was a LONG time ago. LOL

Pippy's 2nd birthday and Halloween

On October 26, Pippy turned 2!! We had a birthday party for her (complete with birthday hats) ... it was fun :0) I even made her a peanut butter carrot cake (for dogs) and being the little DIVA she is ... she didn't even touch it. So much for that idea?!? It might have had something to do with the "pippy-sized" cheeseburger that Bryan made her :0) She did enjoy that.

Pippy even got decorations

playing with her new toys
trying to decide what to do with the cake
enjoying her burger

We just stayed home for Halloween and carved pumpkins and handed out candy. Pippy dressed up as a ladybug. Tessa that I work with bought it for her :0) Too cute!! We didn't get many trick-or-treaters. Nana and Troy came over for traditional Halloween day chili. Kalya and Ryan dressed up and went to a couple parties. Collin was at his mom's so he didn't get to carve his pumpkin with us :0( Earlier in the day, Pippy (all dressed up) and went and visited Grams. It was fun to see her. And all the peeps in the Assisted Living, loved Pippy.

Time to catch up ....

Okay, so I know I am VERY far behind :0( Kind of a slacker ...

A couple weeks ago, Bryan, me and Pippy went to Amandt's Apple Orchard in Stillwater. I had never been to one before. I was a lot of fun ... even if it was kind of rainy and chilly. Courtney met us there but since we were a tad behind she was done with her "shopping" and didn't stay too long.

Pippy's stare down with the goat...the goat just kept staring at Pippy LOL

so cute...the 3 of us

ready to go home ....

Here are a few pics from when I brought Nichole, Riley and Addison to the airport ... it was a sad day to see them off to Georgia BUT I know it's what they have to do. I miss my sister, Dante and the kids already but have got to talk to them :0)

I'm sure there are more pics/stories to post .... but I'll do those later :0) And not months later either LOL

Welcome ILY JO ...

My friend Mandy and her hubby Thorne had a beautiful baby girl on Sunday July 12. Little Ily (said eye-lee) Jo was only 4lbs 14oz and 18 inches long. She was 13 days early. So Tuesday, Bryan and I went up north to visit them and snuggle the baby :0) She is SO tiny. It was like holding a lil dolly. It was nice to hang out with them and see Ava, too. I can not believe she is 7 and going into the 2nd grade. Seems like forever ago that we lived together in the blue apartments and moved to Forest Lake together. Wow, how things change and time goes by .... Ava had a lot of fun playing with Pippy, too. And like always, Pippy enjoyed the attention :0)
