poor lil pippers :0(

So my poor lil Pippers went to the groomer today and she ended up shaved :0( She had mats all over her little legs so I figured they'd have to cut her short. Well there was no "just cutting" the mats out, they had to shave them. And to make her look even ... they had to shave her body as well. At least her head is still all furry. I felt SOOO bad leaving her there but I'm sure that it feels much better for her. This isn't the best weather for her to have no fur ... good thing she has lots of different outfits to choose from to keep her warm. I just keep reminding myself that when it grows out, she'll be SO soft and not matted.

TOO cold ....

Ok, so this weather sucks BAD. It's too darn cold for anything. I feel bad sending Pippy out to go potty but it has to be done. I got a job at a school hoping for "snow" days but NO luck as of yet. EVERY school around us is closed or delayed but not us.....so here's to wishful thinking for tomorrow. 

I wanted to share a some pics that Ryan and Kayla took of Pippy tonight ... Ryan got a new camera and was having a model show with Pippy and the ferrets (sorry but I'm not posting any of them LOL). 

I hope everyone is staying warm....well except for Aunty Shirls who has been in Mexico and my sister, Dante and the kids who get to go to nice, warm Florida for a week (they can freeze) :0)            (this dress is from my dad for                                                                                                                      Christmas...she's so spoiled) LOL

the beginning of 2009 ....

Well here's to the start of 2009 ... I almost sleep thru all of New Years Eve but luckily Bryan woke me up in enough time to give me a *KISS* :0) Then I was back asleep. Getting up at 4:45 am all break kind of got to me LOL 

Then I was sick since Friday with stomach stuff so hopefully it gets better. I'm excited to go back to work tomorrow since the students will be back and it will give us stuff to do. It was a rather LONG and boring break (at least Pippy got to come to work with me a few days tho) :0) She'll be sad to stay home tomorrow while I go. 

Pippy will probably be busy enough since Kayla and Ryan decided to add another ferret to the mix. Now they have Sly and got Bella yesterday. Oh yea fun!! Good thing they stay downstairs.

I can NOT believe Riley turned 5 yesterday ... WOW!! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that he was just turning 1. I hope he had an AWESOME bday with Addison and his parents. I'm excited to go next weekend to his bday party with his friends and help out. 

 

Well I hope everyone had a SAFE and fabulous NEW YEAR!!! 

We're just getting ready to watch the Vikings today ... good thing Bryan got all his new stuff *GO VIKINGS*
