Happy Graduation to Kayla ....

Kayla graduated from River Falls High School on June 7th. We had a party for her last Saturday, June 20th. It was such a beautiful day out, we were lucky. Bryan and I got up early to go decorate and save the pavilion at the park ... we couldn't reserve it so we had to be the 1st ones there.



We had lots of help with the food (it was all very yummy) and Bryan grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and brats for all. I think he was hoping to have a lil more time away from the grill to visit ... but he did get some visiting time in.


We surprised Kayla with a picture cake from Byerly's ... mmmmm!! ... so good :0) I'm so glad she loved it :0)

We didn't play beach volleyball like we had hoped but the boys got some football (catch) in, as well as frisbee and the kids got to play on the playground.



Bryan's sister, Bridget, came down from Colorado with her hubby, Steve, and their 2 boys, Dylan (almost 7) and Ryan (9). Bryan hadn't seen them in like 2 yrs. We've been hanging out with them all last week and it's been great. Dylan and Pippy have totally bonded. Dylan would like to take Pippy back to Colorado but don't think that is gonna happen :0) LOL Riley and Dylan hit it off right away and had the best time playing together.

I'm so proud of Kayla (and Ryan) for all their hard work!! They both have big dreams ahead of them and I know they can accomplish anything they put their minds to!!!

My Birthday ....

Happy Birthday Mama!!!!


I turned 33 on May 26th ... wow!! I don't really feel like I'm 33...One of the guys I work with guessed I was about 24 and one of the gals guessed about 26. Nice :0) That was helpful in making my day. Courtney had decorated my desk/computer and made me a cake. She also made me Snickerdoodle salad ... mmmmm!!! We took Pippy to the park when I got home.

Bryan made me grilled turkey burgers for dinner...my fav!! The kids were here and Bryan's mom came over and brought me really pretty hanging basket to put in the front of the house...

And an orange black eyed susan for the deck. She also brought or a trelis for it to climb up. Can't wait to see it :0)

Then we had cake. We were gonna watch "Twilight" but didn't get a chance to ... I was tired and it was getting to late. It was a VERY good bday :0)

So ok, I know that I haven't been very good at keeping up the last month ... so I'll do a lil catching up now.
I know I haven't even posted prom pics .... and that was April 24. Bryan and I chaperoned for East View Academy's prom (where I work). It was a lot of fun. There weren't as many kids as we hoped for there but it was still a good time. Then the next night April 25 was Kayla and Ryan's senior prom. They looked so cute :0) We went over to Ryan's house and took some pics before they went to dinner.

I had also went up north to my parents for a weekend when they had Riley and Addi. We took the kids swimming at the hotel in ML and played outside ...

We went to Aunty Shirley's for Mother's Day ... we had a brunch. It was VERY yummy :0) It was nice to spend it with my mom and everyone else.

Ok, well I think that's all I've been so behind on :0) LOL ... Hopefully now, I can keep up again.

I can NOT believe I am gonna be 33 years old tomorrow ... crazy, crazy?!?! Not sure yet what we are gonna be doing for my day. I am working (after my nice 3 day weekend) :0) I'm sure it will be a FUN day ... the students have been a lil rambunctious to say the least LOL ... that's what not many days of school left and "summer fever" will do.

been slacking ... here's EASTER pics

So I've been slacking at keeping up-to-date the last few weeks but here goes ... we celebrated Easter at Nana's (Bryan's mom) house. It was Bryan, me, Kayla, Ryan, Collin, Nana and Troy (Nana's friend). Nana made ham, potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, deviled eggs, rolls and more stuff. It was a very yummy dinner. And we had lemon bars for dessert. We just hung out for awhile after dinner and then decided to take Pippy (and the ferrets) to the park since it was such a BEAUTIFUL day outside :0) They all LOVED it! We took pics at Nana's house and at the park .....

Friday night, Bryan and I went over and watched the kids for a few hours while Nic and Dante went out :0) It was fun ... we played outside for awhile and then watched "Land Before Time" then it was bedtime already ... of course Riley wanted Aunty to spend the night but I told him we'd have a sleep over a different day.


Addi was so funny outside on the swingset ... she had Bryan and I cracking up.


Riley and Bryan kicked the soccer ball around for awhile.


And Pippy was running wild ... she's not use to having so much room to run free :0)









Saturday was Bryan and my 1 year anniversary ... I can NOT believe it has already been a year that we have been together ... time flies!! We slept in on Saturday (probably since we didn't get home til like 2am the night before). After we were up and ready, we went bowling in River Falls and rented a few movies for later. I felt bad about leaving Pippy at home to go bowling so we took her to the park for awhile. It was a bit chilly out. We watched "Bedtime Stories" and just hung out. We decided to finally go to bed and it was like 3:45am ... we didn't realize how late it was or how hungry we were ... so we took a 4am trip to Perkin's for breakfast. And of course River Falls isn't open 24hrs so we went to Hudson ... in the snow LOL It was fun and a perfect end to our day (or night) :0) We didn't get any pics cuz I couldn't find my camera :0(

I'm excited for this coming weekend and GNO at Kari's with all the girls :0) Fun, fun ....
