Pippy's 2nd birthday and Halloween

On October 26, Pippy turned 2!! We had a birthday party for her (complete with birthday hats) ... it was fun :0) I even made her a peanut butter carrot cake (for dogs) and being the little DIVA she is ... she didn't even touch it. So much for that idea?!? It might have had something to do with the "pippy-sized" cheeseburger that Bryan made her :0) She did enjoy that.

Pippy even got decorations

trying to decide what to do with the cake
enjoying her burger

We just stayed home for Halloween and carved pumpkins and handed out candy. Pippy dressed up as a ladybug. Tessa that I work with bought it for her :0) Too cute!! We didn't get many trick-or-treaters. Nana and Troy came over for traditional Halloween day chili. Kalya and Ryan dressed up and went to a couple parties. Collin was at his mom's so he didn't get to carve his pumpkin with us :0( Earlier in the day, Pippy (all dressed up) and went and visited Grams. It was fun to see her. And all the peeps in the Assisted Living, loved Pippy.

Time to catch up ....

Okay, so I know I am VERY far behind :0( Kind of a slacker ...

A couple weeks ago, Bryan, me and Pippy went to Amandt's Apple Orchard in Stillwater. I had never been to one before. I was a lot of fun ... even if it was kind of rainy and chilly. Courtney met us there but since we were a tad behind she was done with her "shopping" and didn't stay too long.

ready to go home ....

Here are a few pics from when I brought Nichole, Riley and Addison to the airport ... it was a sad day to see them off to Georgia BUT I know it's what they have to do. I miss my sister, Dante and the kids already but have got to talk to them :0)

I'm sure there are more pics/stories to post .... but I'll do those later :0) And not months later either LOL

Welcome ILY JO ...

My friend Mandy and her hubby Thorne had a beautiful baby girl on Sunday July 12. Little Ily (said eye-lee) Jo was only 4lbs 14oz and 18 inches long. She was 13 days early. So Tuesday, Bryan and I went up north to visit them and snuggle the baby :0) She is SO tiny. It was like holding a lil dolly. It was nice to hang out with them and see Ava, too. I can not believe she is 7 and going into the 2nd grade. Seems like forever ago that we lived together in the blue apartments and moved to Forest Lake together. Wow, how things change and time goes by .... Ava had a lot of fun playing with Pippy, too. And like always, Pippy enjoyed the attention :0)

Happy 17th Birthday Collin ....

Last Tuesday 7/7 was Collin's 17th birthday .... we decided to go bowling on Monday for his bday. It was $1 bowling ... only $1 per game/per person, $1 shoe rental and $1 burger and fries ... couldn't beat that deal :0) For the first game it was just Bryan, me and Collin and then Kayla and Ryan came for 2 more games ... Collin won the 1st game, Bryan won the 2nd and Kayla came back for a strong finish in the 3rd :0) LOL

Then on Tuesday, Collin's actual bday, we had porcupine meatballs (mine and Collin's fav), baked taters and fresh salad from nana's friends garden :0) mmmmmm!!! Nana came over for dinner, as well as Kayla and Ryan. We had cheesecake with chocolate sauce for birthday dessert. After dinner we watched Transporter 3 ... Collin's choice. It was very good (even if I hadn't seen the 1st 2) :0)

Nana sat in lil Miss Princess Pippy's chair so she had to jump up and sit with Nana. LOL :o) ... it's a good thing Nana likes Pippy.

4th of July ....

So it was Bryan, me and Collin for the weekend of the 4th. We kept it low-key and just relaxed. Played at the park since it was such beautiful weather ... played frisbee and soccer, watched movies and had tacos ... mmmm!!!! :0) We didn't see any fireworks even ... too much traffic to go to Hudson to see them and this weekend is River Falls Days so we figured we catch them this Sunday.

Vote for Pippy

I entered Pippy in the most pampered pup contest .... I know, I'm a dork :0) Here's the link to vote for her. The pups come up in a head to head challenge so you have to vote for other pups too. She'll be on there til the end of July. If we win the month contest, we get a gift certificate for the website (to buy her fun clothes, accessories, etc ...) and then she's entered for the Grand Prize. So feel free to vote for her as often as you want :0)

i forgot the pics of my baby :0(

So I don't know how I forgot to put the pics of Pippy in that blog .... but I did :0( She did SO good at the party. For part of the time, she was tied up to the picnic table and rested. Otherwise, she stayed right by me or the boys. It was HOT for her so she took some breaks under the picnic tables to cool down ...
